Daydream #1 First Page Inks

A couple of weeks ago, I mentioned a project by my friend Rachel called daydream, which takes dreams submitted by Internet users and recreates them through public theater performances. The goal of the project is to explore how our dreams affect our waking lives and, in turn, the people around us.

In that spirit, I’ve decided to start doing an intermittent series of comics based on daydream. The more I read these dreams, the more I think they’d make great sequential art. And I’m absolutely enamored with the idea of doing comics in which the dreams are real, while the dreamers and their lives are completely fictionalized. Cool, right?
